Are you in a band but you want to spread the word more by putting a standalone player on your page of your bands music to get more plays? It is quite easy. Even if you want to help promote a band, this is the way to do it as well, since it is legal, and you are not stealing or DLing any music.

Step 1. YOU MUST USE INTERNET EXPLORER FOR THIS.

Go to the band or artist you want to help promote, in this case we will use my band, Grounds For War. Go to www.myspace.com/groundsforwarnyc and you will see the standalone player. Click on the standalone player where it says "open in new window"

Step 2. The player will open up in a new window and this is where you will see the link to the player. Copy the link and open a new explorer page. Paste this link. Step 3. you will see the player on the page, so right click and then left click on "get source". This is where you will get the html for the player. This is what you paste into your own myspace page.

Step 4. paste into your myspace page where you want it, and ENJOY!
